It’s a big day at Jubilee this Saturday as we celebrate our past players and officials day from 12-4pm in the social rooms. The rooms will be closed for the duration of the function except for past players and officials.

We will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of our 2013 under 19s Premiership with a replay of the game played on TV in the rooms.

We will also be awarding life membership to club great Brett Anderson. Brett played over 200 games for the club and has been involved in the club since 1977. Please join us to celebrate this monumental achievement for a club great!

All three of our senior teams take on Boronia:

The white team had a bit of a slow start against Upper Ferntree Gully, who sit 7th on the ladder, with a quarter time break score 4-9. The girls had a few fill ins this week including returning defender Olivia Ashcroft from injury over a year ago. Massive game for her with more than 7 intercepts throughout the game which resulted into goals and getting the girls back in front. The white team rolled over Upper Gully in the third quarter outscoring them 6 goals to 14 giving them a lead of 4. They held onto that lead through the whole last quarter taking the win at the final siren 33-29. The girls now sit 6th on the ladder with maybe a chance of finals depending on higher teams results.

Red unfortunately had another loss this week against Norwood. The girls had a slow start with scoring one goal to Norwood’s 11. They came back a bit in the second quarter scoring 7 goals to Norwood’s 8. Leading scorer Kiara Jackson with 9 to her name and with a lovely partnership with her sister Indi Jackson with 8 to her name. The girls never give up they play till the very end and make the margin as small as possible. They take on the Waverley blues this Friday hoping for a win before the season ends.

This week black took on 4th on the ladder with only six players, a lot of players were unavailable to play which made it hard to form a team. They played so hard throughout the entire game never giving up even though they were so drained. Jemma Dysktra who is an all round player had a high score of 10 to her name. Following with 8 goals was Lilly Dowling who performs super every week. The girls have two games left and are hoping for a win before the season is finished. They take on Norwood who sit 6th on the ladder, so hopefully a win this week for the black team.

Go Redbacks!!
