Your contributions to the team are truly valued and appreciated.

PAT CRONIN FOUNDATION ROUND (SATURDAY 6 MAY)
The club recently was involved in the Pat Cronin foundation round.

All senior teams wore yellow arm bands to raise awareness for the Pat Cronin Foundation.

The Pat Cronin Foundation provides education, strategies, and resources to empower young people to stop violence and end the coward punch.

This participation is important, ensuring we educate ourselves in putting a stop to violence and becoming part of the solution rather than the problem.

The club are hosting PLAY4BCNA Pink Sports Days to celebrate the work of BCNA. Please show your support and get involved in fundraising. This helps the BCNA to inform, support, connect, and represent all Australians affected by breast cancer.

Last week our junior teams donned the pink socks (11-12 May), while our Senior teams will be donning the pink socks this weekend (18 May). The club will have BCNA socks and beanies available for purchase at the clubrooms this Thursday night!

All supporters and players are encouraged to wear pink or pink accessories over the next two weeks to raise awareness for this charity. Through this we are supporting the great work of BCNA through positively impacting the lives of people with breast cancer and their families.

SENIOR MEN
We headed to Lilydale looking to get our 4th win of the year.

We started well as we pressured Lilydale around the contest. This was allowing our defence to set up and give us repeat entries. As the game went on, we continued to keep up our pressure around the contest and our tackling pressure was better but for all our work behind the ball we needed to be better with our forward entries as we continued to kick the ball to where their numbers were.

The third quarter was our best as we generated good run from our back half and flow on our ball movement, which gave our forwards more opportunities one on one.

The most pleasing aspect of our win, was our defence as we kept Lilydale to 4 goals.

We are back at Jubilee as we take on The Basin.

Go Redbacks!
