AFL VIC & TAC
Last year, our club participated in the TAC Club Rewards Program, focusing on road safety awareness. We were proud to receive $10,000 in funding, which we used for uniforms, training equipment, and community engagement.
In 2023, Ringwood stood out in Victoria for its unique and positive road safety initiatives, thanks to the exceptional efforts of Olivia Ashcroft. Olivia’s work was recognised by TAC and AFL Vic as the best in the state, leading to the clubs prominent role in this year's campaign launch, check out the videos and post at the below links.

FUNDRASIER FOR JUNIORS
As we head into the End of Financial Year, the club wanted to let you know that we are running a fundraiser to help with the purchasing of equipment for our juniors that can also help you. With more teams added to the club this year, including an under 12 girls team, we are looking to ensure we can continue to support the junior club to provide players equipment and keep fees for all junior teams the lowest that we possibly can. Your support can help to make this happen. We have set up an Australian Sports Foundation page in which all donations made to this cause are tax deductible.

All funds from these donations will go to the purchasing of equipment for our juniors, including jerseys for new teams we plan to introduce in 2024 and to subsidise the fees of juniors so it is cheaper for them to play as we continue to grow the club.

If you would like to make a donation and receive a tax deduction in the process, click on the link below.

NETBALL
Ringwood White
The white team faced the top team in the latest match. Having had two weeks off prior to this game, they were a bit rusty and struggled to find there rhythm initially. Despite these challenges, each player stepped up and fulfilled their role admirably. It was a close contest, but they managed to hold on and secure a narrow victory, winning by just 3 goals. The white teams determination and teamwork were crucial in overcoming the odds and securing the win.

Ringwood red
The Red team faced off against the team ranked 6th on the ladder in their latest netball match, and unfortunately only had 6 players available. Despite this disadvantage, everyone gave their best effort and played really well. Many players had to step into roles that were not their preferred positions, which added to the challenge. Unfortunately, these factors led to them to losing by a semi large margin. The girls are aiming to come back to training to work on new skills and plays to bring to the court.

Ringwood black
The Black netball team had an impressive performance in their recent match. They started strong, leading by 9 goals at quarter time and extended their lead to a commanding 20 goals by halftime. Sophie Haddock and Madi Smith both contributed equally with 21 goals each, showcasing their scoring prowess. The team eventually won by a remarkable 33-goals, demonstrating their dominance throughout the game. This victory marks a successful season for the team, and have most certainly secured a spot in finals as they are undefeated since round 1.
